JOKE OF THE WEEK

A man and his friend were hunting deer in rural Missouri near a blacktop highway.

A huge buck walked by and the hunter carefully drew his bow and took careful aim.

Before he could release his arrow, his friend alerted him to a funeral procession passing on the road below their stand.

The hunter slowly let off the pressure on his bow, took off his hat, bowed his head and closed his eyes in prayer.

His friend was amazed. "Wow, that is the most thoughtful and touching thing I have ever seen. You are the kindest man I have ever known."

The hunter shrugged. "Yeah, well, we were married for 35 years."

Cheat...Theatres!
Hate paying $8.50 for a box of Jujubes at the cinema? Make them pay you for their over-priced sugar snacks. Before you head to the movies, buy a box of candy at a drug store. Make sure it's the same size as the candy the theater sells. When you get the theater, go up to the counter and tell them that your girlfriend bought too much candy and you want to return a box. Since the theater owners have marked up its snacks, you stand to make a couple bucks profit. Do this enough times and you will actually break even on that $12 ticket you bought for Rent. You will never regain your pride after seeing that song-filled shitfest, however.

ASK TINA

Q: submited by Maggie
What's a fetish, and how does someone develop one??
A:
A fetish is a condition in which someone is sexually fixated on an inanimate object, such as high heels or lingerie, or a nongenital body part, and has to touch, rub, smell, or see the object in order to become aroused and climax. Though no one is certain what causes a fetish, it's believed to affect mostly men and likely begins when sexual excitement is inadvertently linked to the object. Of course, lots of men -- and women -- are turned on by various parts of the body and things like sexy underwear. But, they don't need them to become aroused, which is what separates an attraction from a fetish. As long as a person with a fetish (called a fetishist) is still interested in having intimate relations, and he has an understanding and willing partner, the object of desire can be incorporated into their sexual repertoire.

STRANGE NEWS HEADLINES
BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. - Hundreds of pieces of Elvis Presley memorabilia were auctioned off over the weekend by a longtime collector trying to win back his girlfriend after she warned: "You leave the Elvis clothes or I'll leave you." The items auctioned included three Elvis concert suits, two of which sold for $125,000 and $50,000, said Alan Lipkin, senior vice president of Regency-Superior, which organized the online auction. The third was still on the auction block. Also sold were necklaces Elvis gave to girlfriends and friends, cufflinks he received from President Nixon and belt buckles he wore, Lipkin said. The seller, Jim Curtin, collected 600 cartons of Elvis memorabilia for more than 30 years and met the star several times. His unrelenting adoration eventually got the attention of Elvis, who personally presented Curtin with a white jumpsuit he wore in a Houston concert in 1974, according to the Regency Web site. So why give up the lifetime collection? "He's doing this to try to win back his girlfriend," said Lipkin. Attempts to reach Curtin, who lives in Philadelphia and has an unlisted number, were unsuccessful. Total auction sales wouldn't be tabulated until Tuesday, but organizers estimate the take could reach $2 million.
