JOKE OF THE WEEK

A duck walked into a hardware store and asked the man behind the counter, “Do you have any gwapes?” The man replied, “Uh…no.” The duck turned around and left. The next day the same duck came back and asked the same man, “Do you have any gwapes?” The man, getting quickly irritated, said, “No, we do not have any grapes! And, if you come in here one more time and ask for grapes, I’m gonna staple your feet to the floor!” The duck quickly waddled out of the store. The next day the duck came back and stepped up to the same man and asked, “Do you have any staples?” The man shouted, “No!” Then the duck said, “Do you have any gwapes?”

Tip and Trick of the Week
Cheat...Evil Bosses!
Taking off early from the office, but don’t want your boss to know? If you use Microsoft Outlook to send e-mail at work, chances are this trick will provide you the perfect alibi: Compose a new e-mail message to your boss—whatever’s suitable (“Hey Bob, can we talk about X, Y, Z tomorrow?”). Before you hit “Send,” go to the overhead menu and choose “File,” then “Properties.” In the window that opens, choose “Send Options,” and in the next window, click “Microsoft Exchange Server.” If you can get this far, you’re golden. In the new window, choose “Send this item.” Change the radio button from “Immediately” to “In X minutes,” then type 30, 60, 120—whatever time you want the e-mail sent. Close out all the boxes and hit “Send.” Your boss will get your e-mail later, and think you’ve been working hard all night long. P.S. You might want to test this out by sending yourself a time-delayed e-mail first.
ASK TINA

Q: submited by Mark
Women always say they like confident men, but that cockiness turns them off. What's the difference?

A:
Confidence is when a man is proud of his job, but never brags about it. When he has a great body, but doesn't call attention to it. He talks about his hobbies and passions because he can see that you're interested, not because he assumes you are. A confident man will approach a woman directly, but with a questioning smile. Confident men will state their opinions, welcome criticism, ask when they don't know, admit mistakes, and stand up for what they believe even if it's going to make things difficult for them. At the heart of it, I'd say confidence is about being sure of who you are and what you're worth, but never thinking you know it all. Cockiness is thinking you're the shit, and taking for granted that everyone around you thinks the same.

STRANGE NEWS HEADLINES
August 16, 2004 -- SANTA MARIA, Calif. — A day before he'll be in court on his child-molestation case, Michael Jackson dropped by a South Los Angeles church yesterday and met with about 35 Sunday-school students. One girl at the First AME Church asked if the children could visit Jackson's Neverland ranch. "You're welcome anytime," he told her. Jackson appeared with brother Randy, comic Steve Harvey and lawyer Tom Mesereau. Meanwhile, CBS News reported that California's attorney general has cleared the officers who Jackson claimed "manhandled" him during his arrest. "No one touched, grabbed or pushed him [Jackson]," the report said. Jackson will be in court today as his lawyer questions from District Attorney Tom Sneddon. The singer is not required to attend the hearing, but said he wanted to be present for what is expected to be a drama-filled confrontation. It's more than just courtroom theatrics. Prosecutors could lose the right to present key evidence if the judge rules that they obtained it by violating Jackson's attorney-client privilege.
