JOKE OF THE WEEK
A rich old man goes golfing with his friends. And he brings along a gorgeous young lady.
"Well guys, meet my new fiancée" he says, full of pride. And for the rest of the afternoon the friends can't take their eyes off the beauty.
After the round of golf the rich man goes up to the bar to order drinks for the group. One of his friends accompanies him and quietly asks:
"How did you manage to hook up with such a beautiful young lady? You're seventy. You must be at least forty years her senior!"
"I lied about my age."
"And she actually believed you!? How old did you say you were?"
"I said I was ninety."
Pixelmator Adds 3D Touch for Touch-Sensitive iPad Painting
iOS: Pixelmator is already a pretty great photo editing app on iOS, but the most recent update takes advantage of the new 3D Touch feature on the iPhone 6s in just the way you’d expect it to, with touch-sensitive painting.
Alongside the hard-pressing on the icon for shortcuts and various peek and pop features, the newest update to Pixelmator allows you to hard press while painting to make thicker lines, or touch softly to make lighter lines. While this doesn’t exactly make painting on your iPhone a delightful experience, it does help make it a little better. Beyond that, the update also adds in support for the iPad Pro and the Apple Pencil.
For everyone not on Apple’s newest devices, you get a bunch of new artist-designed brushes (included a pixel brush for anyone who loves pixel art), a new auto-straighten feature, and improved cropping.
"okay, so I'm a nurse in the busiest part of the hospital, and only worked here for 7 months right after i graduated. About month 3 i noticed the most GORGEOUS girl ever; one of our blood drawers. Anyway, her and I have become great work colleagues, and i think it escalated to a little more. Now I am ALL for professionalism and very cautious on workplace romances, but her and i seem to click more than the others. About 3 months ago, I notice every time i talk to her, her pupils are big, we kid alot and even if i say something thats not funny to me, she giggles almost every time. I even catch her looking at me from across the department when i walk out of a patients room, and when i glance away, shes still looking at me! And i will be sitting at my computer doing charting, say hi as she walks by, then i caugh her turning around as she walks by and looks me in the eyes and continues. I dont know if this is friendly or if shes giving me a signal, I would like input on what to do before i catch the feels.
Long story i know but any input is appreciated, thanks!"
"it all comes down to this: do you want to chance a workplace romance? it's a case of risk vs reward. on one hand this can lead to a great romance, or it can lead to the end of a workplace friendship. you need to ask yourself if the possibility of a romantic relationship is worth the risk that you see way too much that isn't real.i would honestly just say "fuck it" and ask her out.
and NOT as friends, i would make sure to say specifically that it's a ROMANTIC DATE."
SUFFOLK, ENGLAND -- A horse breeder who found a newborn piglet in her stables thinks it may have been carried there by a fox.
The piglet was nestled among straw used by mustangs, but the stables owner has no idea where it came from.
Martine Lettau, from Tuddenham St Mary in Suffolk, said: "Mustangs are quite renowned for seeing off predators."
The piglet was taken to a nearby pig farm, but its manager said it was "unlikely" it had come from there originally.
Ms Lettau said she found the piglet "rustling and squeaking" in the stable on Monday morning.
"The only thing I can imagine is that a fox carried the piglet off when it was born, carried it over a mile here and happened to come through the paddock," she said.
"The foals might have then chased the fox off and the piglet got herded into the stable.
"When I found the piglet and it started squealing, some of the mustangs came over from the paddock to see what I was doing to it, so they must have taken ownership."
Ms Lettau said she took the piglet to a neighbouring farm in the Mildenhall area.
The farm manager, who did not wish to be identified, said that as it was only a day old he could not confirm if it had been born in one of his fields, but the piglet had put it with a sow and it was weaning.
He said: "I think it would be highly unlikely for a fox to carry a piglet for a mile, let alone for it to have no mark or injury as a result.
"If the piglet's temperature dropped by even a couple of degrees it would not have survived."
